It’s that time again when I have the pleasure of putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) to talk about a new Konnexsion release. This time as I sit here, putting my thoughts into words, I find myself struggling to explain how pleased I am with the results of what we have been working on over the last month.

This release takes Konnexsion into new territory. Historically our focus has been on operational impact, aiming to solve business issues relating to efficiency, effectiveness and controls. The property finance release brings a level of strategic oversight to the management of your portfolio.

This week brings you features that I’ve wanted to provide you for some time. However, I always felt it needed a level of maturity in our solution before I could start to bring innovations that support strategic decision making. I’ve watched many of our portfolio landlords use highly complex spreadsheets to rank, analyse and make decisions about your properties—these spreadsheets looking to answer simple questions.

  • Will this new property add value, diversity or complement my existing portfolio?
  • Is this current property still a good fit or should I divest?

Now I can’t answer these questions for you, but I can help you collate, compare and analyse the information necessary to make a decision.

As part of my research into this enhancement, my product team and I have spoken to:

  • you, our portfolio landlords,
  • mortgage advisers,
  • debt providers

And other professionals to bring together a solution that we hope will finally relieve you of some of those spreadsheets.

A number of you have sent me samples of your spreadsheets, and we have diligently worked through your formulas, rows and columns so that we can launch this feature set.

Property finance brings you a combination of dashboards, ratio calculations, data extracts and what we call the Finance Pack. A single automatically generated document of information from across your portfolio. I am so looking forward to hearing how this helps some of you next time you are looking for debt.

There is no better way to learn more about this release than watching the following video and then having a go yourself.
